The series follows special agent Will Trent, who was abandoned at birth and managed to become an adult in Atlanta’s harsh foster care system, working for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI). Will Trent, who wants to make sure that what he experienced does not happen to anyone else, brings a different perspective to the office where he works.
